Where it started

Northern Indiana and southern Michigan. Chapters are also developing in Central Indiana and Texas Hill Country.

Cost to participate

Free for members and eligible restaurant listings. Diners pay their own restaurant bill and tip.

How a Mob is chosen

Community nominations and public voting. Paid advertising does not affect the poll or the winner.

Recent public outcomes

These are verified program activity figures. They are not unique website visitors, ad impressions, restaurant sales, or a guarantee of future results.

Audience reporting

GastroMob is not currently publishing a verified sitewide unique visitor count, active member count, or total advertising reach. We will publish audience numbers only with a date range, a clear definition of what was counted, and the measurement method. Votes and event attendance are reported separately because they do not equal website audience.

GastroMob is building its reporting around community participation and local outcomes. A Mob can bring a week of conversation and attention to a restaurant, while attendance at the kickoff is only one measurable moment. We do not claim a specific sales lift without evidence.
